Warranty

Your watch is covered by a 9-year warranty for proper operation, which includes manufacturing defects in the movement and material failures under normal conditions of use.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or accidents, such as those described below:

  1. Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, dents, or discoloration on the bracelet, case, crystal, or crown resulting from daily use.
  2. Improper Use: Damage caused by impacts (e.g., dropping the watch, striking hard surfaces, high-intensity sports), or the ingress of moisture or water due to the crown not being properly secured before exposure to water.
  3. Intervention by Third Parties: Any repair, modification, or opening of the watch by an unauthorized technician immediately voids the warranty. Olympus assumes responsibility only for work performed by its certified partners.
  4. Extreme Conditions: Exposure to extreme temperatures, magnetic fields exceeding the mechanism’s specifications, or contact with chemical products that may corrode the seals.
  5. Failure to Service: Failure to perform the scheduled service (every 3 years) in accordance with the Olympus digital register automatically voids the product warranty.

Important note: The company reserves the right to evaluate the watch upon receipt. Should any damage resulting from misuse be identified, you will be provided with a detailed technical report and a repair quote—the cost of which will be borne entirely by you—to restore the watch to Olympus standards.

The 9-year Olympus warranty remains valid, provided that scheduled servicing is performed every three years (at the 3, 6, and 9-year marks) by the official Olympus Watches technical network. Failure to adhere to this maintenance schedule results in the automatic expiration of the warranty, as the long-term accuracy and water resistance of the movement cannot be guaranteed without the required technical inspection.

Please note that every scheduled service during this 9-year period is carried out at the customer’s sole expense.
